Job Description
As IFA Administrator, you will be responsible for:
3. Processing new business for advisers/planners, completing trades/fund switches, liaising with product providers and ensuring new business is administered correctly
4. Administration support for valuations, transfers and client reviews in preparation for client meetings
5. Liaising with client and advisers with updates, changes and all matters relating to their financial matters
6. Maintaining the accuracy of client data on the system, ensuring all compliance regulations are being met
7. Invoicing clients for work completed
8. Providing policy documents to client where appropriate
9. Providing administration support to advisers following meetings with clients with agreed timescales
10. Highlighting breaches or complaints to the Compliance Manager as quick as possible
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you must have:
11. Previous experience working in an IFA or financial planning firm
12. Knowledge of financial products and funds
13. Experience of report writing, valuations and appraisals would be ideal
14. Strong administration skill set
15. Great communication skills
16. Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
17. Up to date with current FCA Legislation would be ideal
18. Relevant qualifications include Certificate in Financial Services/Planning
