Band 5/6 Trainee nurse specialist practitioner in intravitreal injections
Are you an Ophthalmic Nurse who would like to work as specialist Ophthalmic Practitioner trained to work independently delivering intravitreal injections.

You are required to be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within a changing dynamic environment. You should possess excellent communication and sound decision-making skills with evidence of ongoing professional development.
Previous experience and practice in this area is essential as a sound knowledge of ophthalmic nursing.
The successful applicant will and have a passion for delivery of high quality patient-centered care working with the medical Retina team to deliver a service based on best practice and national guidance.
In addition, you will be expected to participate in a range of OPD clinical activities, such as, undertaking nurse-led clinics and various Ophthalmic requirements
The role is based at Scunthorpe General Hospital but requires cross-site cover across the three trust sites (including Grimsby and Goole) as well as working within diagnostic hubs across all sites and Humber Wide.
