We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Ilkeston. You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year. Reporting to your Line Manager, you will carry out a range of duties across the department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating crane and other equipment in a safe, competent manner
* Monitor materials and report any non-acceptable material items
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Carry out general yard duties when required
Skills and Knowledge Required:
* Experience working as a 360 Material Handler Operator
* Self-motivated, hardworking, and a team player
* Willingness to work the occasional weekend when required
* NPORS Accreditation is preferred; however, it is not essential
* Experience operating various other plant and machinery (beneficial)
