Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive – Humberside Fire and Rescue Service

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Authority’s Executive team and provide strategic leadership for Humberside Fire and Rescue Service.
* Influence the vision, direction and strategic plan of the service, ensuring alignment with the Fire Authority and local community needs.
* Manage a senior executive team, promoting a supportive and inclusive leadership style.
* Drive substantial programmes of change and deliver on the Authority’s continuous improvement agenda.
* Collaborate with partners, stakeholders and government bodies to secure resources and support service delivery.
* Operate at Fire Service Incident Command Level 4 and participate in the Principal Officer Gold rota.
Qualifications & Experience
* Extensive senior executive experience in a corporate or public sector environment.
* Advanced degree (postgraduate) relevant to the position.
* Completed MAGIC course and qualification to operate at Fire Service Incident Command Level 4.
* Demonstrated emotional intelligence, political acumen and excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
