Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Assist with the installation and maintenance of CCTV and access control systems
* Support in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
* Contribute to system design processes by gathering data and preparing documentation
* Help with the setup and troubleshooting of CCTV, IDS, and other security or network systems
* Use hand tools and power tools safely during construction or maintenance tasks
* Participate in site surveys and assist with the installation of equipment
* Support senior engineers in testing system functionality and performance optimisation
* Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report any issues promptly
* Contribute to health and safety compliance during all activities
Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of computer networking, computer hardware, and system design principles
* Mechanical knowledge with familiarity of construction tools and power tools
* Electrical experience or understanding of electrical systems is advantageous
* Familiarity with CCTV systems, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), schematics, and telecommunication infrastructure is desirable
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Willingness to learn new skills within a fast-paced environment
* Relevant qualifications or coursework in engineering or related fields are preferred but not essential
