Key Responsibilities:
* Support students across a range of subjects and key stages, ensuring all learners have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan, prepare, and deliver targeted interventions.
* Lead small group sessions and, where appropriate, cover lessons in the absence of a teacher.
* Assist in the monitoring and assessment of pupils' progress, feeding back to teachers and pastoral teams.
* Contribute to the overall ethos of the school, promoting high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Essential Qualities and Experience:
* Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally within a secondary environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting young people, including those with additional needs.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to use initiative.
* A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting student development.
Qualifications:
* HLTA status preferred, but applicants with a minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
