Talent Acquisition Business Partner @ SmartSearch | Recruitment, Growth and Communication

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

This role is responsible for generating revenue through new reseller channels and onboarding referral partners who will drive new business for our partnerships team.

The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong industry connections, with the proven ability to identify and create their own opportunities and be able to manage the sales lifecycle.

We’re looking for a proactive, results‑driven individual with a strong hunter mentality—someone who thrives on identifying new opportunities and building strategic partnerships from the ground up.


VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

* New Partner Acquisition & Revenue Generation: Identify, engage, and secure new reseller and referral partners across regulated industries including banking, legal, accountancy, property, fintech, and corporate services.
* Build and manage a strong partnership pipeline, accurately forecasting against ambitious revenue targets.
* Develop and execute a partner acquisition strategy to deliver new revenue streams and support partnerships and sales targets – identifying new partnerships outside our core segments.
* Onboard and enable new partners, ensuring they are equipped to generate new business for SmartSearch.
* Negotiate complex commercial agreements and partnership terms at C‑suite and senior decision‑maker & stakeholder level.
* Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to create impactful co‑branded campaigns and go‑to‑market initiatives.
* Track, report, and forecast partnership pipeline and revenue contribution.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

* 5+ years in partner development, channel sales, or business development within SaaS, RegTech, AML, compliance, or adjacent financial technology sectors.
* Strong network of industry contacts and proven success in building and scaling partner ecosystems.
* Demonstrable track record of generating revenue through new reseller and referral partnerships and other partnership channels.
* Commercially astute, ambitious, and highly motivated self‑starter.
* Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation, and influencing skills at senior stakeholder level.
* Skilled in consultative sales & solution selling.
* Collaborative and adaptable, able to work autonomously and thrive in a growth‑focused environment.
