Senior Diagnostic Technician Needed in Manchester
1. Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
2. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (42 hours per week, with some weekend work)
3. Salary: From £40,000 per annum + generous bonus scheme + £2,000 joining bonus
4. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a prestigious and rapidly expanding used car supermarket, is looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Senior Diagnostic Technician to join their energetic team. Key Responsibilities for a Senior Diagnostic Technician:
5. Perform a wide range of vehicle repairs – from routine maintenance to more complex diagnostic and mechanical work
6. Advise the Workshop Controller on any additional work required and gain authorisation as needed
7. Fault-finding and diagnosis using the latest diagnostic tools
8. Carry out work to high safety and quality standards
9. Support team members as required with a proactive and flexible attitude
What We’re Looking For in a Senior Diagnostic Technician:
10. Level 3 Diploma / City & Guilds in Vehicle Mechanics (or equivalent)
11. Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems
12. Confident using vehicle diagnostic tools and systems
13. Ability to work with a range of tools and heavy equipment
14. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety protocols
