To assist the manager and deputy manager in the day to day running of the Home and to promote professional, administrative duties, training and care planning within the Home.
To be responsible as a leader of a team of carers under the direction of the manager and deputy manager.
To assist the manager to maintain and monitor the health and welfare of residents and to manage the staff group to optimum and efficient effect .
To assist the manger and deputy manager in the maintenance of the building to an acceptable standard .
To provide quality and person centred care for residents; ensuring that residents personal, physical, emotional social and spiritual needs are met .
To ensure that the service provides opportunities for residents to exercise choice, independence and participation in the community.
To ensure that the personal dignity of each resident is promoted and that their privacy and confidentiality is respected .
To effectively and safely administer resident`s medication.
To assist the manager and deputy manager in maintaining professional relationships and working with health care professionals.
Must have NVQ2/NVQ3
Medication administration experience & relevant Qualification .
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
