We offer clients bespoke, customer-focused waste solutions across Central Scotland, whilst ensuring customer service is at the heart of all operations.*Position Summary*Due to continued growth and development, WRC is recruiting for a qualified *HGV* *Mechanic* to join our growing team in support of our ongoing expansion. This is the perfect position for an individual with HGV experience looking for their next career change to a market-leading Recycling firm.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our growing fleet of vehicles at our Inchinnan depot.*Duties** Maintenance and repair of WRC’s current fleet of vehicles to ensure they are compliant with current health and safety regulations as well as DVLA standards.* Regularly completing fault diagnosis on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.* Carrying out day-to-day repairs such as basic welding and servicing* Willingness to assist with the regular maintenance and servicing of WRC’s recycling plant* Ensure all repairs and servicing are carried out to VOSA and MOT standards* Maintain a thorough knowledge of HGV vehicles and products* Regular fault diagnosis and rectification*Requirements of the role** The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license.* Class 1 HGV license would be advantageous but not essential* Experience working with HGV vehicles and associated systems such as hydraulics, electrics and brakes* Competent diagnostic and problem-solving skills* Physically fit with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks* Ability to work alongside a team of qualified mechanics* Candidates must be self-motivated with strict attention to detail.*What We Offer*As a family-run business, WRC truly values and invests in our people.
