Your new role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during short ‑ term teacher absences. You’ll oversee whole classes, manage behaviour in line with school policies, and guide students through the work that has been set for them. There is no planning or marking involved, and the lesson content is designed so that it can be delivered by staff without subject specialism.
What you'll need to succeed
•Previous experience working with young people (youth/munity work, sports coaching, social care).
•Strongmunication and behaviour management skills.
•Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
•Ability to remain calm, organised, and proactive in a busy school setting.
