Marketing & Communications Intern (9 month fixed term contract)
£25K + benefits
Banbury | Hybrid
Ever written something and thought, “That's actually really good” ?
Ever wanted to see your content on a website, in a campaign or on social media and to shape how a global business tells its story?
This is that opportunity.
We're not looking for someone to just sit in on meetings, but someone to get fully involved.
If you're curious, creative and quietly ambitious, keep reading.
The role
You won't be boxed into one tiny corner of marketing and communications.
You'll get hands-on experience across:
Content creation, social media, campaign support, competitor analysis, performance tracking, agency coordination & international content alignment
This is broad, practical, real-world marketing and communications experience within a fast-moving, international B2B business and you'll be trusted to contribute.
What you'll be doing
Create, edit and coordinate website copy, social posts, press materials & internal presentations
Develop social media content, adapting messaging for different regions, monitoring engagement and flagging trends and insights
Support campaigns, crafting customer-focused messaging and summarising insights to track performance.
Assist with marketing and communications agency coordination, keeping projects and meetings organised and managing invoice payment and internal processes
You'll help keep our content libraries organised and easy to reuse. You'll adapt messaging for different audiences and channels and make sure what we say is clear, consistent and compelling.
What you'll bring
You'll probably be studying Marketing, Communications, Business, Media or something similar.
But more importantly, you'll bring:
Excellent writing & editing skills: You're a natural copywriter and can proofread. You can adapt tone for different audiences and care about getting it right.
Great interpersonal skills: We're a family business so relationships matter here. You'll build trust with colleagues and external partners and be professional, reliable and approachable.
Creativity & curiosity: At BFS, we're all about doing things differently. You'll bring fresh ideas, ask questions and be curious about data, trends and storytelling.
Strong organisation: We're a busy team supporting colleagues and customers globally. You'll manage content calendars, juggle multiple tasks, deliver on time and keep people updated.
If you like structure and creativity, this role gives you both.
