Electrician
Location: LondonSalary: £46,000 plus night shift upliftShifts:• 7am to 3pm• 10am to 6pm• One week per month on nights from 7pm to 5am
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to support the full upkeep of a major London visitor attraction. This includes the building, the ride experience, and the cinema experience. As an Electrician in this environment, you will work within a friendly and supportive engineering team where everyone helps each other, shares the workload, and takes pride in delivering an outstanding and safe experience for all guests.
We are seeking an Electrician who is proactive, reliable, personable, and confident with both planned and reactive maintenance. You will receive structured onboarding and training to help you gain full competence with all site systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Maintenance
• Carry out electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic plumbing tasks across the attraction• Complete reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance• Maintain strong safety standards and ensure full compliance across all work
Attraction and Equipment Maintenance
• Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and cinema equipment• Support the upkeep of motors, machinery, and emergency lighting systems
Teamwork and Communication
• Work closely with a team of twelve engineers who operate with a strong one team approach• Communicate confidently using walkie talkies during daily operations• Interact with guests when required, always maintaining a friendly and professional presence
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are an Electrician with:
• Level 3 electrical qualification or an equivalent qualification• Experience with planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance• Knowledge of motors, emergency lighting, machinery, pneumatics, and mechanical systems• Experience with lift engineering is an advantage• A hands on approach and willingness to support the team• Strong communication skills and confidence in guest facing situations
