Gluing Machine Operator (Folder Gluer)
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: £36,000 £43,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Shifts: Rotating shift pattern (2-week rotation)
Working Days: Monday to Thursday
Shift Pattern
* 2 weeks: 06:00 16:00
* 2 weeks: 16:00 02:00
* Rotating on a continuous basis
* Overtime available at enhanced rates
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Gluing Machine Operator to join our clients production team in Cambridgeshire. This is a permanent role offering competitive pay, excellent shift patterns, and opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
* Make-ready, set up, and run a folder gluer machine
* Maintain machine speeds and production output to agreed targets
* Lead, support, and develop members of the production team
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are fully adhered to
* Achieve all preventative maintenance targets and report issues promptly
* Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency at all times
* Demonstrate full knowledge and understanding of folder gluer machinery
Key Requirements
* Proven experience operating a folder gluer / gluing machine
* Strong understanding of machine setup, running, and troubleshooting
* Ability to lead and motivate a small team
* Strong focus on health & safety and continuous improvement
* Reliable, flexible, and able to work rotating shifts
