Our client is a leading precision engineering company based in Ferndown and are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Setter Operator to join their dynamic team.
This role is available on either a:
Day shift (8.00 – 17.00 Mon – Thurs, 8.00 – 12.30 on Fri.)
Night shift (4pm -2am, Mon – Thur).

Key responsibilities as a CNC Turner Setter Operator:
* Machine Setup and Calibration: Prepare and configure CNC turning machines by selecting tools, loading programs and adjusting settings to meet job specifications.
* Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering plans to ensure accurate machining of components.
* Quality Control: Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and verniers to inspect parts and ensure they meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
* Troubleshooting and Adjustments: Monitor machine operations, identify issues such as tool wear or programming errors and make real-time adjustments to maintain efficiency.
* Maintenance and Safety Compliance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and strictly follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Essential requirements for this CNC Turner Setter Operator role:
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner Setter Operator using Fanuc.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Willingness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
