Overview
Job Summary: An enthusiastic, highly motivated Cardiac Physiologist with a specialist interest in CRM to join our teams at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester and Worthing Hospital. The department offers invasive and non-invasive investigations and therapies including transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, ambulatory monitoring, exercise tolerance testing, pacemaker and ICD/complex device implantation and follow-up, and angiography. The post provides opportunities to develop Physiologist-led services and support Continuing Professional Development. This role involves cross-site work between St Richard\'s and Worthing Hospitals.
Main duties
* Assisting in delivering a high-quality Cardiac Investigation Service with a predominant interest in developing skills in the cath lab and cardiac device follow-up
* Performing a wide range of investigations including echocardiography, pacemaker/ICD/complex device interrogation and follow-up with some supervision; assisting in PPM/ICD/CRT device implant procedures; assisting in all invasive investigations in the Cardiac Catheter Lab; providing comprehensive reports; leading in Exercise Tolerance Testing; undertaking Holter analysis and reporting

Job Description and Responsibilities
This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route. Sponsorship is contingent on meeting UKVI requirements, including skill and salary thresholds and role-specific criteria. If applying on a Graduate visa, a minimum of 18 months remaining on the visa is required at time of application.
* Organising and managing own workload

* Being conversant with Cardiac Arrest protocol
* Being aware of patient condition and when to call for Physician assistance
* Being fully aware of implications of results and referring to Cardiologist when necessary
* Assisting in day-to-day running of the department

* BSc Clinical Physiology/Healthcare Science (Cardiology)
Skills
* Detailed knowledge of a wide range of Cardiac Investigations
* Minimum of 2 years experience post-qualification
* Ability to prioritise and manage own workload

* Evidence of ongoing professional development
* Experience in supervising/assisting in development of students/colleagues
Professional Registration
* HCPC or RCCP registration (Desirable)
