We are looking for a Full Time Permanent Baker to join the team in our Restaurant in Klondyke Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay start at £11.90 dependent on experience.
The hours for this role are 40 per week over 5 days. Weekend work is required in this role so flexibility is a must.
The Role
As a Baker you will work as part of the kitchen team to produce a range of freshly baked goods each day. You’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about quality and freshness and produce that special something for our customers to have at the end of their meal.
What you will be doing as a Baker?
1. You will be responsible for the daily production of freshly baked scones, cakes and desserts.
2. Work closely with the Chef/Restaurant Manager to plan production.
3. Monitor stock levels and contribute towards the ordering process
4. Work efficiently to ensure low levels of waste
5. Carry out cleaning of equipment and working areas to the highest food hygiene standards
6. Close down bakery area each day including preparation for the following day.
