Salary: £180 - £240 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week

The Role
We are seeking an inspiring Science Teacher to join us for the summer term. As a subject specialist, you will be responsible for delivering engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a critical period as we support our Year 11 students through their final GCSE examinations and transition our younger cohorts into their next stage of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons that challenge and engage students of all abilities.
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations through targeted revision and rigorous assessment.
* Manage a safe and productive laboratory environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
* Maintain our high standards of classroom engagement and behaviour management.
* Contribute to the wider school community and the department's shared goals.
What We Are Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS: Mandatory for this position.
* Science Subject Specialist: A strong degree in a Science discipline and the ability to teach across all three sciences at KS3/4.
* Classroom Engagement: A teacher who can bring complex scientific concepts to life through practical and theoretical excellence.
* Proven Behaviour Management: Ability to thrive in an environment of high expectations and maintain a focused learning atmosphere.
* DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service
