As Business Support Manager you will be at the heart of Dains office support network, working alongside dedicated and talented professionals, passionate about providing the best administration and office support, to both clients and team members. Dains is ranked 31st in the National Accountancy Age ranking by firm size and was the fastest-growing firm within the surveyed top 100 accountancy firms in the UK. The team is now over 650 people strong with offices throughout the UK and Ireland. Your Key Responsibilities as Business & Office Support Manager You will be supporting and developing your team with personal development plans, appraisals and reviews. As Business Support Manager you will be the support lead for all members of the support team, across all offices across the Midlands. You will lead your team with a professional and values-based approach with an encouraging and supportive manner. This role will require travel to various Dains offices, across the Midlands, so you must be confident with driving. You will be pivotal in supporting the wider Dains operational team to ensure operational effectiveness across Business Support, Facilities, Technology and Practice Assurance. You will implement best practice principles for communication, processes, effectiveness, and positive outcomes. Skills and Qualifications You Need You will have experience managing and leading office support teams. You must be an advanced user of Microsoft Office suite. Experience working within the professional services sector. You will have experience leading and supporting teams across multiple sites. CMI or ILM Management Qualification Level 7 preferred. Be confident with software and systems (e.g. CCH Central, Docusign). Have experience of appraisal, coaching, team development. Personal Attributes You must be a proactive and forward-thinking individual who has a genuine passion for operational effectiveness. You will lead with a supportive and encouraging manner. You will have a calm and confident attitude to work alongside senior management teams. You support across various locations, you must have a full driving licence and access to a car.
