The Role
As an Electrical Engineer (High Voltage), you will support current operations and development projects related to nuclear infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include authoring and assessing design substantiation documents, managing safety case changes, producing inspection and maintenance schedules, and providing technical advice to internal and external stakeholders. You will engage in detailed technical reviews, develop safety cases, and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety and operational standards.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven electrical engineering expertise with a focus on HV electrical supply systems, cabling, and substations
Extensive knowledge of current UK/EU design standards and safety practices
Expert understanding of concept design, detailed design, and construction phases across industrial and maritime projects
Experience in technical assessment and authoring safety case documentation within high hazard environments
