Contract: Full Time / Permanent.Monday to Friday 9.30am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours p/w).Flexible approach to this work pattern is required to work in the evenings and at weekends which can be mutually agreed in advance.

What the opportunity looks like:
Supported by the wider Brand Home Team, the Distillery Ambassador will ensure that guests will always remember their experience with The Dalmore by leading intimate groups of luxury consumers, trade partners, HNWIs, whisky enthusiasts and journalists around the Distillery, conducting tastings of our world class single malt Scotch whiskies, hosting groups during off-site activities and assisting guests in our exclusive Boutique before finally saying goodbye as they depart.
At each touch point, the post holder will ensure that the needs of our guests are anticipated and expectations exceeded. Using genuine enthusiasm, passion for the brand and storytelling, the Ambassador will enthrall each visitor and create a lifetime of advocacy for The Dalmore.
When the Brand Home Manager is unavailable, the Distillery Ambassador will act as deputy manager by leading and inspiring the team as well as dealing with issues as required.
* Warmly welcoming guests on arrival and leading insightful conversations as the lead host of every visit.
* Leading world class experiences with luxury consumers, HNWIs, trade visitors, whisky enthusiasts and journalists, ensuring that the key messages of brand, process, heritage and liquids are suitably delivered to create a lifetime of advocacy from each and every visitor to The Dalmore.
* Being recognised as a face of the brand at home and abroad by demonstrating pride and passion for The Dalmore – your enthusiasm should shine through to delight our guests.
* Being knowledgeable about our whisky and the local area to deliver authentic and entertaining on and off-site experiences.
* In collaboration with the Brand Home Team, ensure that front of house areas are immaculate as befitting of a luxury setting and that back of house areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Adhering to The Dalmore Experience service standards at all times.
Skills and experience that will help you be a success:
For this role we're looking for:
* Luxury retail and/or hospitality experience essential.
* Experience of working with whisky trade partners and journalists desirable, ideally in an ambassadorial capacity.
* Inspiring and leading small teams.
* A knowledge of customer service, particularly in 4- and 5-stars environments.
* An Engaging and enthusiastic storyteller, able to impart knowledge and entertain visitors whilst delivering an authentic on-brand experience at and away from the Brand Home.
* A superior attention to detail and an ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
