Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Passenger Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to passengers, ensuring their comfort and safety during their journey. You will play a vital role in enhancing the travel experience by assisting individuals with various needs, including those with disabilities or mobility challenges. Your ability to communicate effectively and deliver outstanding customer service will be essential in this position.
Responsibilities
* Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Provide support to individuals with mobility challenges, including the use of wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
* Communicate clearly and courteously with passengers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
* Ensure that all necessary equipment is available and in good working order for passenger assistance.
* Maintain a clean and organised environment in waiting areas and vehicles.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
* Report any incidents or issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
* Proven experience in customer service, demonstrating a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with passengers from diverse backgrounds.
* A compassionate attitude towards assisting individuals with varying needs.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
* A valid driver's licence may be advantageous but is not essential for this role.
