About the Role:
As we continue to support an increasing number of customers and local businesses across the group, we have an opportunity for an Accounts Administrator to join our team.
As the team that ensures that loan funds are distributed quickly to customers, to managing supplier payments, to reconciling accounts, this is an all round role that will support the accounts team, to maintain accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions, as well as compiling reports and data both for the management team and external governing bodies.
This is an all rounder role that will develop your accounts and finance knowledge and skills.
About You:
* You will have office based experience and will be confident maintaining data in a variety of systems, from Excel, to company databases and are comfortable using programmes such as Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* You are used to dealing with customers either face to face or by email or phone, or you may be looking to return to an office role following a career break.
* You are a natural
'people'
person with great communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with enquiries at all levels.
* You have a great eye for detail and a proactive approach to getting things done.
* We are seeking an individual that is self-motivated, and able to provide evidence of personal development through training and have strong ICT skills.
* as the group accounts function is based in Guernsey, this role will require monthly travel to Guernsey head office, including overnight stays.
