Warehouse Operator/Fork Lift Driver The DS Smith Warehouse team are a dynamic and skilled mix of professionals who focus on delivering machine products, delivering on operational targets and performance whilst working to delight our customers by showcasing our sustainable and innovative packaging solutions - The Despatch team are fundamental to our business success, one of our biggest departments and filled with highly skilled, highly experienced individuals! Key Responsibilities Fork-Lift Truck Operations Ensure all activities within the warehouse (and external stores) are carried out in line with current Health & Safety SSOW and policies Ensure product received from manufacturing is correctly palletised through to the take-off lines. Ensure that machine supplies are managed to their correct levels to minimise any machine downtime. Ensure take-off lines do not back-up through effective movement of product to the loading bays or warehouse. Correct use of IRF scanning systems to ensure product movements are correctly recorded. Allowing for customer restrictions, load trailers in the most effective way to maximise trailer utilisation. Support manufactured volume flow through effective post-manufacturing process controls to deliver product on-time in-full to the customer.
