Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join a SEND school in Southend-on-Sea.
About the role:
You will be supporting students with a range of additional needs, including:
* Autism (ASD)
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
* Complex learning disabilities
You’ll play a key role in helping pupils stay engaged, build confidence and reach their full potential within a supportive and structured environment.
What we’re looking for:
* A positive, patient and resilient attitude
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Experience is beneficial but not essential – full support provided

* Full-time, long-term opportunity
* Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30
* Based in Southend-on-Sea
