We are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Surrey (B.C.)

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
* Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
* Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
* Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
* Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
* Maintain own tools

Responsibilities
In order to succeed in this role-you will need:
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
* Commercial or Truck and transport journeyman certification is mandatory for this position
* CVIP license is mandatory
* Locally valid driving permit (Required)
* This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
* Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
* Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
* Experience with full chassis repairs: Brake Systems, A/C Diagnostics, Chassis Electrical, Transmission Repairs.
About the role
* Working hours are 630am to 5pm Tuesday-Friday (4X10 schedule).
* Union environment.
* Salary is 51.13$ hourly.
* Work is mostly on transport trucks and transit buses.
