Athena Racing are expanding our operations team with the goal of winning the America’s Cup, the oldest international competition still contested in any sport. We are building an agile, creative and collaborative team to compete and win at the pinnacle of the sport of sailing. We are now looking for a Stores and Facilities Assistant to join us. This is a hands-on role at the heart of the action, keeping our stores running smoothly, supporting logistics, and helping maintain the high-performance environment that powers the team’s success on the water. No two days will be the same: one day you might be receiving precision-engineered components for the race yacht, and the next helping the team prepare the base for a vital testing phase. You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit crew where every detail matters and where your organisation, flexibility, and initiative make a real difference. Contract Contract: Fixed Term - January 2026 to April 2027 Location: Brackley, UK Travel : Some travel may be required within the UK Responsibilities Take charge of goods-in, ensuring smooth receipt, handling, and distribution of parts and materials Manage and maintain the team’s stores, including boat components and operational consumables Keep the build shed and workshops in an organised, and efficient condition Support facilities and logistics projects, from deliveries to on-site setup Contribute to the day-to-day upkeep of the team base, including general duties that help the operation run at peak performance Desired skills/experience No prior experience required. Enthusiasm, initiative, and reliability are key A proactive team player with a hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail Organised, adaptable, and willing to get stuck in wherever needed An interest in sailing or high-performance sport is a plus A clean UK driving licence is essential to assist in the collection and delivery of goods Due to vehicle insurance policy restrictions, applicants must be aged 21 or above to be eligible to drive company pool vehicles.
