Duties will include, but not limited to:
* Provide quality assurance support to customers
* Identify, review and approve quality provisions of the customer contract, specifications and expectations
* Responsible for supporting new product introduction and product development programs
* Perform root cause analysis and initiate and follow up when investigations, such as 8D reports are required
* Responsible for supporting and maintaining a customer focused and a quality culture within the organisation
* Assist the coordination of DFMEAs, PFMEAs, Process Flow, Process Capability Studies
* Support in the redaction of Customer Quality Plans
Essential Skills
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline with a minimum 3 years' experience with similar experience as NPI/Product Quality Engineer
* Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings, including geometric tolerances
* Strong knowledge of all the aspects of metrology
* Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
* Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs), Process Capability analysis (Cp, Cpk), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
* Strong Leadership and mentoring skills
* Good communication skills
* Strong computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Hours of work: Permanent Day Shifts Monday to Thursday 6:30am / 4:20pm
