We are partnering with a world-class innovation and research centre embarking on an exciting growth journey.
The Procurement Category Manager for Facilities Services is a newly created position within a greenfield procurement team, supporting the Head of Procurement in delivering excellent procurement activities and developing robust category strategies across the group.
You will own the FM category and supplier management for both Hard and Soft services, as well as Laboratory Equipment and Services. We seek candidates experienced in building category strategies from scratch and implementing them across organizations, managing a varied and growing estate.
This role suits someone with an ambitious mindset, able to work in an agile environment, excited by the opportunity to support a greenfield team and the development of the procurement function.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* 8 years of procurement experience, particularly in Facilities Management sourcing.
* Experience managing procurement for laboratory equipment and related services within an FM context.
* Proven record in leading complex procurement projects with measurable value delivery.
* Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Research) is advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or related field; a master’s degree is desirable.
* MCIPS qualification or working towards full membership is highly desirable.
