A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on-target earnings of up to £50,000. A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities. 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
We’ll equip you for success from day one - with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.

As a Mobile Mechanic at RAC, you’ll get benefits that go the extra mile:
Responsibilities
* Service, diagnostics, repairs, and checks on a range of light vehicles; manage stock, complete reporting, and maintain customer conversations.
* Represent the RAC on client sites (driveways, car parks, etc.) and provide practical advice to customers.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least 3 years\' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

* Earnings: base salary £38,625, with opportunity to increase up to £50,000 through bonuses and premium-rate overtime. Full-time 40-hour week, Monday–Saturday availability (8am–8pm).
* Opt-in Guaranteed Overtime: after the first month, you can work extra rest days at £30 per hour. One extra day could add ~£3,000 per year; two extra days ~£5,000.
