About the Opportunity We are looking for an ambitious and energetic BDM to develop and expand our client base throughout the European marketplace, predominately focused on Subsea Excavation and Decommissioning sectors. The role is based remotely or in our regional office in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire and will be part of our dynamic global business development team. The Business Development Manager shall be responsible for the lead generation, tender submission support, follow up and successful closure of opportunities. To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality and a hunger to chase and close new business. Key Responsibilities Meet clients F2F, and virtually, to understand their needs and recognise how JFO can add value to their business profitably and sustainably. Create an effective alliance with the business development analyst to identify and qualify leads to expand and generate new business opportunities, including research of competitor's activities to gain competitive advantage. Perform effective client communications to ensure all enquiries and submissions are being followed up effectively and any potential changes in scopes are addressed to optimize JFOs chances of award. Maintain and service key accounts including preparation of proposals and tenders, ensuring correct purchase orders or agreements are in place and supporting finance by checking sales invoices prior to submission. Adhere to sales to operations procedure to streamline pre-sales & post-sales activities and maximise service delivery. Take responsibility of the development and implementation of the regional sales & marketing strategy. Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the development of sales material and promotion of products & services. Participate in periodic internal sales calls and meetings to share knowledge and promote business growth, including monthly and quarterly reporting requirements. Conduct post sales activity to confirm customer satisfaction and service delivery as per contract and to achieve customer retention. About the Candidate Extensive experience in a Sales role within the Oil and Gas industry. Experience working in marine engineering environment, decommissioning and subsea will be advantageous. Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills. IT fluency and proficient in MS Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point. Exceptional organisation and planning skills.
