Marketing Manager
Glasgow
£50,000+
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a growing online retail business at a pivotal stage in its journey. Part of a wider portfolio of well-known Glasgow-based brands, the company is entering a new phase of expansion, with major plans for 2025 and beyond.
This role offers the chance to take real ownership of brand strategy and creative direction, shaping how the business connects with its audiences across multiple touchpoints. You’ll be joining a small but ambitious team that’s already driving impressive growth and ready to take its brand presence to the next level.
The Role:
This is not a day-to-day ad-execution role — the business already has paid media specialists and agency partners handling platform delivery. Your focus is on performance at a strategic level: using data, insight and creativity to drive full-funnel growth across all digital channels.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team, you’ll set the direction for digital performance, creative strategy and campaign architecture — ensuring every activity is aligned to clear commercial objectives.
You’ll be responsible for elevating how the business appears across Meta, Google, CRM, PR, influencers, partnerships and onsite experience — ensuring every touchpoint is optimised, consistent and driving momentum through the funnel.
This is a high-impact role where your decisions shape perception, accelerate performance, and define how the brand grows in its next chapter.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead a full-funnel digital brand strategy that connects storytelling with performance, ensuring consistency across every customer touchpoint.
* Own campaign architecture — from insight and creative direction to activation — across digital, social, paid media, CRM, PR, influencer and experiential channels.
* Drive high-impact partnerships and influencer programmes designed to expand reach, build credibility and convert demand.
* Work closely with internal teams and agency partners to deliver cohesive, data-informed campaigns with best-in-class creative output.
* Plan and execute events, product moments and experiential activations that increase visibility, strengthen loyalty and drive measurable engagement.
* Analyse channel performance, creative effectiveness and audience behaviour to continuously optimise strategy and improve ROI.
* Act as brand and performance guardian, ensuring tone, visuals and experience are aligned and consistently driving commercial outcomes.
* Champion a culture of creativity, testing and innovation across the marketing and growth teams, pushing for breakthroughs at every stage of the funnel.
Requirements:
* 4+ years marketing experience within a D2C scale-up, lifestyle/eCommerce brand, or creative agency.
* Strong grasp of full-funnel brand and performance strategy, with proven ability to turn insights into high-impact creative campaigns.
* Confident managing PR, influencer, and partnership activity.
* Excellent project management and communication skills.
* Commercially aware with the ability to balance creativity and performance.
* Entrepreneurial and proactive, able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
* A natural collaborator with a passion for building brands from the ground up.
Package:
* Competitive salary starting from £50,000, depending on experience.
* Hybrid working – office based East of Glasgow.
* Opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling a growing lifestyle brand.
* Genuine scope to progress into a Head of Marketing role as the business expands.
* Work alongside a passionate, entrepreneurial leadership team driving meaningful growth.
* Free on-site parking and staff discounts on products.
