Overview:
As part of the Risk & Compliance team you will provide support to the R&C Officer. This is a team that has supported 2 apprentices before, both of whom are still working within the department, so you are in safe hands!
What will you be doing?
* 1st point of contact for telephone queries. You will triage requests, troubleshoot and escalate to the R&C Officer where necessary.
* Become a superuser of iManage (a document and email management system) where you will organise and retrieve case files, contracts, and other legal documents.
* Assist with maintaining professional standards by assisting the risk officer with internal organisation related to the anti-financial crime audit (e.g. AML, Sanctions, Fraud, Tax Evasion, Bribery etc). You will also support with day to day queries about HM Policy and standards and compliance.
* Develop expertise in 3E (a legal practice management and CRM platform used for client data, billing, and matter management).
* Help with the collation of data and input to MS Excel spreadsheets and risk reports.
* Assist data input for conflict checks with routine audits and answer queries about conflict reports.
* Attend meeting with the risk office and track all digital details.
* Provide and build awareness of regulatory risk and compliance within the organisation.
Required skills:
* Maintaining full confidentiality with all requests.
* Attention to detail.
* Be a good communicator.
* Strong organisational and planning skills.
* Competent with Microsoft Office, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook.
* Be able to cope with flexibility and changing demands.
Salary:
£22,932 per annum.
Working week:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Future prospects:
Should you perform well in this role there is an opportunity for you to take up a permanent position at the end of your qualification. Many of our previous apprentices are still with the company. Future salary will be discussed should you be offered a permanent role.
