Relief Store Protection Officer – Waitrose
Payrate 13.50 per hour. BREAKS UNPAID. Part Time role. Hours and Days will be discussed on interview day.

Responsibilities
* Retail Security Officer role to protect the Waitrose store, its people, and assets by providing security and excellent customer service through Mitie and Waitrose key values.
* Full and extensive training will be provided including MAYBO and a focus on customer service.
* Company funded SIA licence renewal.
* Fully supported by the National Operations Centre (NOC) and provided with technology such as body worn camera and incident reporting device.
* Delivering results that meet and/or exceed the expectations of Mitie and Waitrose by using all technology provided and following ASCONE guidance.

Main duties
Operations
* To be aware of and ensure compliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK law and guidance bodies.
* Engage with National Operations Centre (NOC) and Mitie management and use of all technology provided, including body cameras and mobile devices to aid in reporting incidents.
* Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
* Review published Assignment Instructions to stay updated with changes and suggest amendments to improve service.
* Maintain compliance with Industry and Statutory Legislation (front-line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and wear it at all times during duties; additional required courses may apply.
* Work in a systematic, methodical, and orderly way.
Training
* Complete required competency training.
* Undertake training to ensure continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
* Use technology to achieve key objectives and develop knowledge through continual professional development.
* Renew your licence 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Look out for and report any Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
* Stay alert to threats or changes in the work environment and take appropriate action to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
* Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations and with customers.
* Complete an accurate notebook entry after any incident for the Incident Report process.
* Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
* Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time per Assignment Instructions.
* Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.
