Candidate required: Document Controller Job Type: Contract (18 Months) Start date: ASAP Industry: Construction Location: Lingfield, Surrey The role & about the client: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established contractor for an experienced Document Controller to join their team on an active construction site in Lingfield, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable contractor who has a strong pipeline of work across London and the South East. The role is offered on a site-based 18-month contract, providing a chance to be part of a high-performing and professional team. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Set up and manage site-based document control processes Upload, track, and distribute drawings, specifications, and documentation using an EDMS Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project documents and communications Control document versioning to ensure only current information is in circulation Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and consultants to manage documentation flow Support the site team with general admin duties related to documentation Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards The ideal candidate will have/be: Proven experience working as a Document Controller within the construction industry Proficient in using EDMS platforms such as Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex, 4Projects, or similar Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Able to commute reliably to site in Lingfield, Surrey How to apply: Please send an up-to-date CV in strict confidence.
