Job Role – Marketing Assistant Location – Oldbury Salary – Competitive Our client is a leading manufacturing organisation within the steel solutions, due to continued success they are searching for Marketing Assistant to join the team. This role is of key importance to the continued development of the marketing strategy within Metsec. The Marketing Assistant will take the lead with the Company’s social media platforms, producing engaging content for all divisions. They will support the Marketing Manager utilising a variety of marketing techniques to ensure all elements of our marketing strategy are in line with brand guidelines and current best practice. Person specification Have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, or a minimum of 2 years’ experience ideally in a B2B Marketing role Excellent working knowledge of social media and scheduling tools Experience of working to strict brand guidelines Have experience in editing content on the Company website using WordPress CMS Confident user of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular, InDesign, Photoshop and Premier Pro Have the ability to form good working relationships Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce) for sales lead generation Keen communication and relationship building skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular PowerPoint Must be eligible and able to prove that you can work in the UK, as the Company does not hold a sponsorship licence.Your responsibilities Manage and maintain the Company’s social media platforms, predominantly LinkedIn Create engaging graphics and artwork for the Company’s social media and other marketing material, such as adverts, email banners and flyers (Adobe and Canva) Maintain and update the Company websites and download portal (WordPress) Assist with the Company’s digital and traditional marketing campaigns Maintain the Company intranet and ensure all information is kept up to date Produce the Company internal newsletter to engage employees and stakeholders Assist with the organisation of exhibitions and trade events across the UK.Package: Competitive salary, Company pension scheme, health cash plan, life assurance, 33 days holiday (including statutory days), discounted gym membership, cycle to work scheme and an employee assistance programme.
