We are looking for Ad-hoc minibus passenger assistants / Escorts for work based in Nailstone / Blaby / Melton / Loughborough / Mountsorrel / Croft / Sapcote
Escorts are primarily responsible for transporting vulnerable adults and children with special educational needs including physical and /or learning difficulties to their School, Day Centres and other activities.
Escorts will ensure their passengers’ personal wellbeing and safe/secure travel at all times, by the job description, relevant Policies, legislation, Procedures and good practice. Duties Will include clamping in wheelchairs, fastening seat belts and interaction with service users.

The work is school term time only.
(*example of split shift = 7.30am – 10am/2.00pm – 5.00pm)
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Either hold an enhanced DBS on the update system or be prepared to apply for one. •Be prepared to attend a training course prior to starting work
1. Own transport is essential due to travelling to locations.
2. Have 5 Years work history
3. Have excellent understanding of written & spoken English
