Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
Administrator
The closing date is 26 May 2026
Hull Royal Infirmary – Part Time, 22.5 hours working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Have you ever thought about working for the NHS?
Behind every appointment, every clinic, every patient seen – there is someone who made it happen.
Our Administrators are the unseen heroes of patient care. The reassuring voice on the phone. The organised mind behind the clinic list. The calm presence supporting patients when it matters most. Without them, patients don’t get seen. Services don’t run. Care doesn’t flow.
We are recruiting a part‑time Administrator to join our Oral and Maxillofacial Team at Castle Hill Hospital. You don’t need previous NHS experience – we can teach you the systems. What we can’t teach is compassion, professionalism and the ability to care about getting things right for patients. That’s what we’re looking for.
Main duties of the job

What you’ll gain
* The chance to make a real difference every day
* Full and part‑time opportunities with flexible working options
* One of the best pension schemes available

Patient care is at the heart of everything we do, and our administrative teams are central to making that care possible. If you are organised, compassionate, and want a role where your work truly matters, we would love to hear from you.
About us
The Humber Health Partnership is one of the largest acute and community partnership arrangements in the NHS, seeing well over one million patients every year and managing a budget of over £1.3 billion.
Made up of two Trusts – Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLAG) and Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) – our Partnership has significant ambitions and is committed to delivering world‑class hospital and community services for the 1.65 million people we serve.
Together we employ nearly 20,000 staff. Our five main hospital sites are Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole and District Hospital for NLAG, and Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital for HUTH.
As teaching hospitals working with the Hull York Medical School, we both lead and contribute to research in many areas – biomedical research, primary care, palliative medicine, cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, vascular surgery and oncology.
We believe that by developing a diverse, inclusive, innovative, skilled and caring workforce, we can deliver excellent care to our patients and a great future for our employees, our Partnership and our community.
