Tuesday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 & Saturday 10:00 - 18:00.
We’re looking for a dynamic, Warehouse Shift Manager to take charge of operations, inspire a high‑performing team, and keep everything moving seamlessly from goods‑in to dispatch. This is more than just managing a shift, it’s about driving performance, championing safety, and making a real impact on how we deliver for our customers every single day. Your purpose will be to ensure organised, controlled, efficient and profitable operations within the depot, in order to provide a high quality service to the customer, whilst working within the constraints of company policy and relevant legal requirements.
Key Accountabilities
* Ensure food safety, quality, legality and integrity are upheld and promoted as a food safety culture.
* Ensure that audits are completed in all areas of the business to ensure quality, environment and food safety standards are maintained.
* Maintain effective operations through the effective use of process management.
* Ensure high standards of customer service throughout all areas of responsibility.
* The control of goods receipt, replenishment, ferrying, customer order processing and dispatch operations.
* The control of all ancillary operations affecting the quality of service provision.
* The control of stocktaking/checking/maintenance systems and procedures – includes results.
* The control of building maintenance works.
* The implementation and maintenance of depot hygiene operations.
* Assist in setting and measuring department KPI’s.
* Maintain high levels of security within all areas of responsibility.
* The control of staff performance via implementation and supervision of PBR schemes.
* Control the purchase, use and maintenance of all equipment, plant and machinery.
* Oversee direct reports in relation to all aspects of performance and development in line with leadership competencies.
