Offer description

Overview

Senior operations analyst - Relationship management (Transfers) at Seccl. The role focuses on external transfer relations with ceding schemes, building strong working relationships with counterparties, platforms and fund managers to ensure smooth transfer journeys and move assets quickly for customers. You’ll act as the link between the transfers team and the wider industry, combining relationship management and project delivery to resolve blockers, drive down transfer timescales, and support process and system improvements. You’ll also lead a small team, coaching them in data analysis, reporting and effective communication, while maintaining high standards of operational service.

Responsibilities

* Build strong relationships with platforms, fund managers and counterparties to keep transfers running smoothly
* Create clear frameworks for collaboration and share updates on volumes, timeframes and blockers
* Own bulk and complex transfer projects end to end, coordinating internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate partner data packs, signatory lists and scheme details
* Analyze transfer performance data to spot risks, regulatory impacts and opportunities to improve
* Coach and develop a small team of analysts, and support recruitment where needed
* Monitor team objectives and embed a culture of feedback and continuous improvement
* Identify risks in the transfer process and strengthen controls while ensuring fair customer outcomes

This role’s for you if

* You know platform transfers (cash & in-specie) inside out and understand investment operations
* You’re a natural relationship-builder who can influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
* You’ve led and developed others, while improving processes and workflows
* You’re analytical and data-driven, able to spot risks and turn insight into action
* You’re proactive, organised and customer-focused, with a drive to deliver better outcomes

This role isn’t for you if

* You rely on a lot of top-down direction. You’ll have freedom and ownership of your role, and will be expected to shape your progression
* You’re not comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; speed and scalability are essential
* You struggle to follow through on ideas. If you care about something, you’ll have the freedom to make it happen
* You don’t like change. You should be comfortable with rapid growth and uncertainty

What’s in it for you

We offer a generous mix of benefits for the things that matter to our people, including:

* Salary between £40,000 and £45,000 depending on experience, reviewed annually
