Hours: 6 – Sundays only

Role overview: We’re seeking a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team, acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the shop operations on Sundays, including keyholder duties (training provided), and supporting volunteers.
* Assisting in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
* Reviewing and processing donated goods and stock.
* Generating creative ideas for income growth with guidance.
* Providing excellent customer service to supporters and customers.
* Maintaining shop standards on safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety.
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as required.
Candidate profile:
* Knowledge of excellent customer service.
* Experience in lively environments.
* Adaptability and teamwork skills.
* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility in working hours, with an understanding of rota-based schedules.
