Job Description
Global Product Strategic Transformation
We are Global Product, the team of product, design and technology experts behind the video, connectivity and smart home experiences enjoyed by millions of Comcast, Sky, Xumo and syndication customers daily. As part of the Chief of Staff team, we deliver multi-market transformation programmes to help our product and tech leaders ship products that win, and ensure our teams are set up in the best way to deliver. Working alongside the most senior stakeholders at Comcast and Sky, this is a high profile, rewarding, global role – and not for the faint-hearted. Success looks like leaders moving faster and with more confidence because of our involvement, even where our contribution is largely invisible or absorbed into the outcome.
What You'll Do
Define opportunities for us to become more efficient and effective – by being highly structured, hypothesis-led, spotting hidden patterns, analysing options and crafting compelling narratives.
Achieve consensus and alignment on which opportunities to pursue – by connecting the dots, influencing a wide array of senior leaders, and obtaining their buy-in.
Create the environment to deliver change – through expert facilitation and the diplomacy needed to hold others to account.
Drive progress and embed sustainable change in the organisation – by constructively challenging peers and seniors, and ensuring your impact outlives your involvement.
Act with high agency and minimal oversight – by leaning into ambiguity and showing sound judgment to clear the fog.
Lead by example, lifting others within and outside the team – through shared work and collaborative coaching, rather than formal hierarchy.
Stay humble – recognising our success is the success of others .
What You'll Bring
Proven consistent experience setting an executive-ready strategic vision and articulating a persuasive, evidence-based case for change ("why this, why now").
Extensive experience delivering nonlinear, cross-functional strategic programmes where outcomes evolve, phases overlap, and success requires judgment, scenario thinking and adaptive planning rather than traditional project management.
Proven examples of securing sponsorship without formal authority - earning your mandate from demanding leaders and building trust through delivery.
Track record of orchestrating productive senior conversations – simplifying issues, crafting decision-ready materials, breaking deadlocks elegantly.
Clear evidence of delivering outcomes through relationships rather than hierarchy – demonstrating exceptional communication skills, active listening, empathy, and the ability to tailor influence across diverse technical, product and executive audiences.
Significant experience working across multiple regions, cultures, geographies and time zones; demonstrating cultural intelligence, adaptability, and an ability to navigate unspoken organisational norms in large, complex global environments.
Concrete examples of high resilience and selflessness – you derive energy from ambiguity, find ways to stay motivated, and are happy as the unsung hero.
Significant experience in top-tier management consulting and/or in large matrix organisations, directly owning complex global transformation programmes involving operating model redesign, product/technology strategy and/or organisational change.
Strong experience working within product and technology organisations, with a solid understanding of how product, design and engineering teams operate at scale. A passion for media, entertainment and telecoms is highly desirable.
