About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Educator to join a supportive and inclusive school based in the WN8 postcode area. This role involves working closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored educational support to students with special educational needs
* Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning requirements
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement EHCPs
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
* Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
* Monitor and report on pupil progress
Requirements
* Essential: Previous experience working within a SEN setting
* Strong understanding of different special educational needs and support strategies
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* Patient, empathetic, and committed approach
* Relevant qualifications in Education, SEN, or Teaching Assistance (desirable but not essential depending on experience)
