We are recruiting for a Senior Residential Support Worker at Aspris. Our home in Kilmarnock is looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. You will assist with the management of day-to-day operations within our services and engage with, and manage, each child’s plan, ensuring these plans are managed with the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Aspris is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure Scotland and at least 2 references which cover the last 3 years; for all our services we will request references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our Schools.
Please note: due to the location of this home and the nature of the role, candidates MUST have a full UK driving licence as you are required to transport our young people to external locations.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the management of day-to-day operations within the services.

Qualifications
* SVQ3 qualification for this role in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
* Willingness to work towards SVQ4 within the allotted time frame set out by SSSC.
* Full UK driving licence (required for transporting young people to external locations).
* Commitment to ongoing training and career progression.
* Adhere to safeguarding standards and welfare of children.
