You will work closely with both academic and commercial sales teams to assist them to build a pipeline of prospective leads in the UK and Ireland. You are required to conduct research to source new leads and prospective customers and do lead qualification via phone calls. You will assist marketing and account managers to conduct industry campaigns, organize key account workshops, to develop license expansion opportunities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine your technical and people skills to help our customers understand how the COMSOL product line can assist our customers in their research or products development.
Primary Responsibilities
• Qualify and contact incoming leads via phone, email and digital channels
• Drive outbound work through multichannel outreach LinkedIn, campaigns and SDR tools)
• Assist the sales team to identify and develop new sales opportunities
• Work directly with account managers on various campaigns to build the sales pipeline and identify new contacts and business opportunities within existing customers
• Assist account managers to organize and facilitate workshops with key accounts and public workshops as required
• Create and develop email campaigns
• Book meetings and support the sales process from first contact
• Participate in conferences, exhibitions and networking events
• Collaborate with marketing to promote COMSOL events to both new leads and existing customers
• Support SDR-led events to nurture prospects and build the sales pipeline
• Update and maintain the company CRM system to assist the marketing and sales team to promote COMSOL more efficiently
• Provide support with sales operations activities, including order processing, licensing and administrative sales support as required
• Support wider team activities during key business events where additional resource is needed
• You will collaborate closely with colleagues in sales, marketing and technical, both locally and internationally
Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills to assess market needs and identify opportunities
• Degree (STEM subject desirable)
• Eligible to work in the UK.
