Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing staff, inventory and ensuring the safe and efficient storage and dispatch of products. You will play a key part in maintaining smooth warehouse processes, supporting logistics and driving team performance.
Responsibilities
* Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products, ensuring timely and accurate inventory management.
* Maintain computerized stock records and manage inventory levels to balance availability with operational efficiency.
* Organize and coordinate regular stock audits and cycle counts.
* Raise purchase orders and manage the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse.
* Oversee returned stock, including faulty or warranty items, and manage returns to suppliers or internal departments.
* Ensure quality and quantity control of incoming and outgoing goods.
* Identify, implement, and improve warehouse processes and procedures.
* Enforce health, safety, and security standards.
* Lead, motivate, and allocate team members to cover warehouse operations efficiently.
* Conduct regular team meetings to monitor performance, address challenges, and develop actionable improvement plans.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
* Strong background in stock control and purchasing.
* Proven management experience, including staff training and development.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Computer literate, with experience in stock control and courier systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
