£800 - £1150 per week PAYE (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

A vibrant and highly regarded special needs school in Stockport is seeking a dedicated full-time SEND Teacher to deliver engaging, personalised learning for pupils with Autism and complex needs. Supporting students aged 4–19, the school provides outstanding multi-sensory education and care within a nurturing, well-resourced environment where individual progress is celebrated and every child is valued.
Pupils’ abilities and learning profiles vary widely, offering you the opportunity to use your creativity, flexibility, and professional expertise to adapt teaching across a broad, meaningful curriculum. You will work closely with experienced support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to create inclusive learning experiences that help pupils build confidence, independence, and life skills.

Requirements
To be considered for this SEND Teacher role, you will:
1. Hold a recognised UK teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
2. Have experience working with pupils with SEND, either in a specialist or inclusive mainstream setting
3. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Autism, complex needs, and differentiated teaching approaches
4. Be creative, adaptable, and reflective, with the ability to tailor learning to a wide range of abilities
5. Communicate effectively with pupils, families, and multidisciplinary teams
6. Show a genuine commitment to inclusive education, pupil wellbeing, and lifelong learning
