Overview
AFH Wealth Management is one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a competitive salary and range of benefits. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the wider business for all business systems, liaising with software providers to resolve issues and performing data cleansing to ensure all data held within internal systems is accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
* Activating and maintaining system access for staff and advisers, ensuring records are kept up to date
* Assisting with back-office support and liaising with external providers and internal departments to resolve queries
* Identifying data errors and helping to rectify them, with root cause analysis and recommendations to resolve
* Managing back-office field definitions including addition, updating, merging and deletion
* Understanding and learning new processes and developments within the systems to provide support once rolled out
* Handling incoming queries, including validation, classification and review
What we are looking for in our ideal Business Systems Administrator
* Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
* Demonstrable ability to problem solve and work off own initiative
* Proficient in analysing, interpreting and organising data with an eye for detail and accuracy
* IT literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)
* Experience in a financial services environment is desirable
