OCU Group are looking for a Field Supervisor to join our growing team in Leeds. The purpose of the role is to lead and supervise field operations for the replacement of electrical infrastructure assets working on our smart meter cut out replacements contract, including the Jointing of underground cables. The role ensures that work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to regulatory and technical standards across the distribution or transmission network. What You’ll Be Doing Plan, coordinate, and supervise asset replacement projects within your geographic area, ensuring alignment with programme delivery timelines. Lead field teams and contractors in replacing ageing or at-risk electricity network assets. Monitor safety, quality, and environmental performance, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and company policies. Conduct on-site inspections, risk assessments, and Streetworks permitting. Liaise with Network Planners, Project Managers, and other key internal teams to minimise disruption and ensure customer satisfaction. Interface with external stakeholders including local authorities, landowners, and the public during asset replacement projects. Maintain accurate site records and progress reports using digital field management systems. What We’re Looking For Essential: Experience in electricity distribution or transmission networks in a field-based operational management role. Strong working knowledge of LV networks and infrastructure asset classes. Proven leadership of field teams or contractors in a safety-critical environment. Familiarity with UK electrical safety standards (e.g, Cables and cutouts). Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel daily within the designated area.
