Business Intelligence Developer
Location: Norwich, Perth or Glasgow
Salary: Circa £35k
FTC until December 2026

You’ll suit this role if you have experience developing business intelligence solutions and want to support a major transformation programme while improving day‑to‑day reporting. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, automation and working closely with stakeholders to deliver value through data.
A bit about the job
This role exists to provide high‑quality data insight that supports Aviva’s Household Transformation programme and the wider Property Claims operation. You’ll join a collaborative Business Intelligence team focused on reducing manual reporting and improving the quality and accessibility of management information. The team designs and maintains BI solutions that help stakeholders make informed decisions.
You’ll be accountable for building, automating and maintaining insight solutions while consolidating our Qlik application estate. Your work will help free up capacity across the team and enable faster, data‑led decisions.
Skills and experience we’re looking for
* Experience developing BI or insight solutions using tools such as Qlik, Power BI or Tableau
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to turn data into insight
* Experience writing scripts using SQL or an equivalent language
* Ability to plan and organise your own time effectively while managing competing priorities
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
What you’ll get for this role
* Starting salary circa £35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
* Bonus opportunity – 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
